Software engineer found dead in Mohali

A software engineer was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Phase XI here on Thursday,the police said. Sahil,in his mid-20s,was a native of Chamba in Himachal Pradesh and was working with a private company,which had provided him accommodation in Phase XI,SHO Sub-Inspector Sukhwinder Singh told Newsline. He said Sahil stayed with four colleagues,who told the police that they had dinner together last night before calling it a day.

In the morning when Sahil did not wake up,they called the police.

The engineer was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. “We are waiting for his parents to arrive and will proceed further as per their statement,” said the SHO,while apprehending it to be natural death. The exact cause of death would be established after the autopsy examination,which will be conducted on Friday
