The actor who wore a Reza Shariff outfit,defended criticism towards her film,which is being labelled as soft porn. Sitting at The Blue Bazaar to talk about her new assignment as co-host of MTV Splitsville 6,she said,“That’s the Indian mentality,to associate anything remotely linked to Kamasutra as porn. Even my sister thought so,but Kamasutra 3D is not a porn film. We’ve always compared erotica with cheap titillation,but one has to understand that Vatsayan’s Kamasutra is more than a sex manual. It’s an extensive illustration on life,love,family,relationships,a guide to fundamental living.” Chopra,who is currently reading the book,plays an Indian princess in the film,searching for her husband and how her life changes when she meets an indvidual along the way.

The latest season of the reality show,which will be shot in Kerala,will see Chopra playing the role of cupid and the ‘hot host’ in charge of a new segment,called,‘The hotness quotient’. According to her,more than a chiselled body,it’s the personality and attitude of the individual that contributes to their hot quotient. “It’s not a big deal,anyone can look hot,and there is no dearth of hot men and women in this industry. It’s what you make of it,and your identity that matters,” says Chopra.

If shooting a cover for Playboy magazine was a step towards getting noticed,Kamasutra 3D,is her latest trick to get noticed by Hollywood. She hopes Bollywood will notice her as a serious performing artist after this move. But the actor is cleaning up her image by pulling down the ‘dirty’ sections from her website and working with sex workers. “You will see changes on my website in a week,” she says. Knowing her,there are more surprises to come.
