Six killed in truck-bus crash

A head-on collision between an overloaded truck and a mini bus on Friday resulted in the death of six persons on the spot while 25 more were injured. The accident took place near Jang village on Ferozepur-Fazilka road around 9 am. Dense fog reportedly led to the accident. The drivers of both vehicles died on the spot. They were identified as Vijay Kumar and Kewal Singh. Four women also died on the spot.Villagers rushed to the spot to took the injured to hospitals. The district administration is yet to announced any relief for the injured or the kin of the dead.
