It was easy going for all seeded players as Faheen,Manu Gupta,Aakansha and Tuba reached the semi-final stage in the women's category with easy wins on the penultimate day of the XII Raj Kumar Babuta Prize-Money Ranking Carrom Tournament being held at at St Stephen's School,Sector 45.

It was easy going for all seeded players as Faheen,Manu Gupta,Aakansha and Tuba reached the semi-final stage in the women’s category with easy wins on the penultimate day of the XII Raj Kumar Babuta Prize-Money Ranking Carrom Tournament being held at at St Stephen’s School,Sector 45. In a quarter-final encounter,Farheen ended the challenge of Gulshan with a 23-0,17-0 win while in another quarter-final encounter,Aakansha scored an 8-4,5-3 win over Kudrat. It was a good performance by Manu Gupta also as she ended the challenge of Priya Sharma with a 7-1,11-5 win while in the last quarter-final encounter,Tuba defeated Anjali Taneja 12-5,9-3.

In the men’s singles category,Hassan scored a 23-0,8-1 win over Riyasat Ali to move into the quarter-final stage while in another match,Mubashir ended the challenge of Sudhir Sidhu with a 10-6,10-4 win to advance into the quarter-final stage. It was a narrow encounter for Raj Kumar as he defeated Piyush Sood with a 5-4,11-1 margin to book his place into the quarter-final stage while Ekansh Goel also moved into the quarter-final stage with Anuj Kumar Sinha giving a walkover. In another match in the same category,Talib scored a 12-0,17-2 win over Arun Kumar to move ahead in the championship while Shaquib ended the challenge of Umeed Ali with a 12-7,10-6 win.
