Security beefed up in city after Pune blasts

In view of the serial blasts in Pune,Chandigarh has been put on red alert. Barriers were put at various places in the city and all vehicles are being thoroughly checked for the suspicion of terrorist activity.

All station house officers have also been provided with maximum police force.

All vehicles will be physically checked,and busy markets,parking areas,garbage boxes and vital installations will also be inspected. An anti-sabotage teams,explosive vapour detector teams Operations Cell staff have been deputed on nakas.
