‘SAD(Delhi) is B team of Punjab Cong’

More than 1,500 supporters of SAD (Delhi) on Monday joined SAD (Badal),along with youth wing chief Gurdip Singh Gosha and party’s Veopar Mandal president Balwinder Singh Bhullar. They joined the party in the presence of Youth Akali Dal president and Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who described SAD(Delhi) as the “B team of Congress”.

Two days ago,SAD (Delhi) president Paramjit Singh Sarna had terminated the youth and Veopar Mandal wings of the party to “re-organise”it. “SAD(Delhi) failed to provide justice to the 1984 riot victims. They could not even press upon the demand to punish culprits like Sajjan Kumar. So,I left the party,” said Gosha.

While welcoming the leaders,Majithia said: “The Sarna group has been working day and night as the B team of Congress in Punjab. It has achieved nothing till date.”

The inclusion of Gosha and Bhullar proves that the Sarna group was on the verge of collapse,he added.

The group has no existence in Punjab while its navigator, the Congress,is facing several internal problems both at the state and central levels.
