The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) suffered a big jolt as the units of the party in Moga and Faridkot including joined the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) in the presence of party president and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal here on Wednesday. SAD (A) general secretary from Kotkapura, AvtarSingh Khosa,who also contested the election of SGPC from Kotkapura,said he and his party colleagues have consciously taken the decision to join SAD (B) unconditionally on the inspiration of Youth Akali Dal president Bikram Singh Majithia and SAD general secretary and member of PAC,Bhai Ram Singh. He said SAD (B) was the only party that could safeguard the interests and pursue the panthic agenda through its progressive policies.
