After homosexuality,yoga guru Swami Ramdev has expressed his displeasure against the Indo-US ties. Egging people to make India self-reliant at a press conference held at Indradhanush Auditorium on Friday,Ramdev said it was also the key to all international ties.

Ramdev candidly aired his views about relations between the two nations and said the US has been making a fool out of India. It is about time that we realise the real intentions of the US . The US is able to cow us down as it has money,which is the biggest power to influence any country. Same goes with China as well. With an economy three times stronger than ours,it is calling shots on the international front, he said. He held that tables would be turned once India strengthens itself in the economic arena. Even the US would fall on its knees in front of us if we work towards our economic development selflessly, added Ramdev.

The conference was also a platform for him to make his political ambitions apparent yet again. While he denied seeing himself as the future Prime Minister,he said he wanted to serve the nation. Ramdev will soon be floating a political outfit,groundwork for which has already begun across the country. He said only those with a clean conscience and track record will be part of the party and he would field candidates for all the Lok Sabha seats in the next elections. Ramdev,however,could not comment on what would be the criteria to judge its members characters. Expressing optimism about his endeavour,he said since he had a clean image,his party would instill a hope of social reform in people.

Ramdev also demanded capital punishment for corruption and cases to be tried in fast track courts. Citing World Bank figures of money hoarded in various accounts worldwide,he said the money belonged to the nation and should be brought back.
