AS with any other cricket fan,the Kauls cannot still fathom cricket without Sachin Tendulkar. Brothers,Uday and Siddharth, both Punjab Ranji stars wouldn’t want to miss even a single ball in his Farewell Test,in Mumbai. The brothers have virtually grown up with Sachin Tendulkar’s posters in their room. And since their father,Dr Tej Kaul,a former Ranji Trophy cricketer and once the trainer of the Indian team had worked with Tendulkar at one point, the two only had him as their hero.It was a memorable moment for Siddharth when he met Tendulkar in New Delhi during last IPL and got the chance to speak to him. Siddharth, who played for Delhi Daredevils met Tendulkar on the eve of match against Mumbai Indians. He requested the Master to pose for a picture with him and also showed him a twenty-year-old photograph in which a young Siddharth posed with Tendulkar. The picture was clicked in Gwalior back in 1993 during the ODI match between India and England, when Siddharth was just three. “Sachin Tendulkar is God to me. He has been sensational for India. I cannot believe the India team without him. I will always cherish both the meetings with him all through my life. He is my hero,” said Siddharth. One can find pictures of Tendulkar in Siddharth’s kit bag, cell phone and also a photoframe of Sachin’s pictures with him beside his bed.

Siddharth would be preparing for the next Ranji Trophy match to be played at the PCA Stadium from November 21 so Tendulkar’s good friends,Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh have taken a break to be with the team in Mumbai to watch the first two days of the Test.“I will be hookedon to the TV from the morning. I will watch the game along with Uday and my parents and then leave for the practice. We missed the 199th Test match also as we were playing against Mumbai in Chandigarh. But then I watched the match later on the internet. These days I am hooked to all TV shows that are dedicated to Sachin Tendulkar. I wish he gets a hundred and leaves in style. I will miss him a lot.”

Bhajji & Yuvi to watch Sachin in action

Meanwhile,Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh have taken off for two days from their practice ahead of the Ranji match to be at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. They will be there to cheer Sachin. They will join the Punjab camp on Friday. Both could not be in Kolkata in the last Test match,as they were playing the Ranji match against Mumbai.
