Property registration rates increase 200% in Panchkula Industrial Area

The Industrial Area in Panchkula has seen an over 200 per cent rise in the property registration rates,which are being implemented from April 1.

The Industrial Area in Panchkula has seen an over 200 per cent rise in the property registration rates,which are being implemented from April 1. The data released by District Revenue Officer G S Virk shows that there is a rise of 224 per cent rise in registration of plots of up to 1,000 sq mt at Rs 25,000 per sq mt in the new financial year,221 per cent rise for upto 2,000 sq mt at Rs 22,500 and 215 per cent rise for above 2,000 mts at Rs 20,500.

For double story shops in Sectors-7,8,9,10,20 and 21,one has to shell out Rs 2,77,000 instead of Rs 1,70,000. And for same kind of shops in Sectors 5,6,11,14,15,2,4,12,12-A,16,17 and Mansa Devi Complex,it is fixed at Rs 2,54,000. Earlier,it was Rs 1,50,000.

The commercial places(booths) witness a rise of 25 per cent and for residential areas the rates have been increased by 50 per cent. For commercial places( booths),in Sectors-7,8,9,the new rate is fixed at Rs 2,25,000 per sq mt against Rs 1,80,000 in 2010-11. In sectors-5,10,11,15,16,the new rate is fixed at Rs 1,87,000 per sq mt. And for sectors 2,4,6,12,12-A,14,17,18,20,21 and Mansa Devi Complex one has to shell out Rs 1,81,000 per sq mt from Rs 1,45,000( in 2010-11).

In residential areas,the rate has been fixed at Rs 48,000 per sq mt for sectors 6,7,8,9 and MDC,where as earlier it was Rs 32,000. For sectors 2,4,10,11 it is Rs 45,000 per sq mt,where as last year it was Rs 30,000. For sectors 15,16,17 and 18 it is Rs 39,000. Last year it was Rs 26,000. The sectors-12,12-A,14,20 and 21 has also witnessed a rise of Rs 12,500 from Rs 25,000. The sectors-23,24,25,26( earlier it was Rs 23,000) and sectors-27,28,19,Budhanpur HUDA plots( earlier it was Rs 17,000) also witness a rise by 50 per cent.

For Shop-cum-Flats category in Sector 7,one has to shell out maximum- Rs 2,21,000 per sq mt,a jump by 30 per cent. In other sectors also,there is an enhancement by 30 per cent.

In Shop-cum-Office category,in all the sectors there is a rise of 30 per cent over its previous year value. The maximum has been fixed in Sectors-7,8,9,10,11,14,20 and 21at Rs 1,95,000 per sq mt.
