Police reshuffle in Himachal

Following retirement of IGP,CID and Crime,O C Thakur and IGP,Prisons,R L Sood on Tuesday,the Himachal Pradesh government has issued transfer orders of six senior police officers,replacing Additional Director General of Police,Law and Order,S R Mardi with Somesh Goyal. Mardi will replace Goyal as ADGP,Armed Police Training. Deputy Inspector General of Police,Vigilance,R M Sharma has been shifted to the Prisons department in less than a month of his posting and promotion. Prithvi Raj has been posted as IGP,CID and Crime.
