But,we decided to merge both design sensibilities and put her in a luxurious western-style silk dress accessorised with traditional Indian bling,” she adds. As a result,the photos could well be from a fashion glossy. There are also photo shoots inspired by the polo-playing and fox-hunting princesses of India,and sepia-toned ones of a bride in a vintage theme.

Nakai,who has studied photography,is the shutterbug while Bhaika does the conceptualisation and styling of the photo shoots. The duo not only snap pictures but also have stylised shoots. The venture was launched in July.

Most brides-to-be want to capture the unreal magic of their special day. “At the Unreal Bride we believe that being unreal is not just about one day — it’s about the day before that day,10 years on,the day you have babies,the day they graduate and all the days in-between,” says Nakai. A package comes for Rs 27,500 which includes 50 hi-res processed images on a CD and two photographs of your choice,framed.
