Making the tri-city go round was Mashal ‘Mallika-E-Rasoi’ contest Season 2,with its culinary contest to given enterprising women a chance to show off their culinary skills. The 10th week of Season 2 held at Mundi Co-op House Building Society,Sector 70,Mohali turned out to be an evening to remember as the ladies battled it out to catch the last spot in the finale of Mashal Mallika-E-Rasoi cook-off.
Even the runner-up Narinder Kaur’s – Anokhi Kheer,bagged the judge’s praise. “It was a tough challenge as all the ladies were very talented. I am happy that Khandelia group organised such a contest to give us homemakers a chance to portray our culinary talents to the city,” remarked Narinder Kaur. Later,the event took an interesting turn when Mashal organised a drawing competition for children where Sneha,a resident of the society,won the top spot. For family members who had come to cheer the ladies,a game of tambola was organised to keep them entertained.
An initiative of Khandelia Group,Mashal Mallika-E-Rasoi Season 2 contest has proved to a success story. Now the heat is on as next week,the nine ‘Mallikas’ of all weeks will bring their best dish forward to be crowned with a diamond studded silver crown. Till then cook healthy and wait for the Season 3 of Mallika-E-Rasoi.
