Riding high on good footwork and big serve,Onkar Apte thrashed Yuvraj toor 8-0 while Divesh Galhot whitewashed Tarun Phogat 8-0 in the second qualifying round of U-12 boys to advance further in the ongoing CLTA-AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament being held at the Lake Sports Complex and at the CLTA courts in Sector 10,Chandigarh. In other matches,Vanshdeep Singh overpowered Abeer Saharan 8-3,while Aryan Nighawan beat Divank Sharma 8-0 and Avik Chaudhary recorded an easy 8-1 win over Gurjosh Singh. Kunal Patial had to fight a tough battle against Siddharth Nighawan to win the match 8-7(4) eventually. The qualifying final round matches of boys and girls will be played at Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) Complex and Lake SportsComplex,Chandigarh on Sunday.
