The popular Kapsons Junior Model Hunt,which attracts a sizeable participation from the region,raking in parents with their tiny tots all dressed up,was held on Sunday evening in Chandigarh. The grand finale of the third edition of the contest,sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger,was open to children between zero to 12 years in different categories and saw more than 150 children from various parts of Punjab on the ramp. The finalists were selected from amongst 250 entries that Kapsons,a multi-brand outlet offering international,national and global luxury brands,had received in the last one month. Earlier,the preliminary rounds were held in Patiala,Ludhiana and Chandigarh. The judges included Paul Singh,feature writer for GQ magazine,April Sher Bhaika,feature writer for Cosmopolitian and directors of Kapsons Darpan Kapoor,Vipin Kapoor,Nishi Kapoor,Akshay Kapoor and Pallavi Kapoor. Ludhianas Aarav Singh and Mehak Sehgal from Chandigarh were crowned Kapsons Junior Model Hunt 2011 winners. Singh was selected from the 0-2 years category and Sehgal from 6-8 years category. The winners will be the faces of Kapsons Junior in the coming season.
