Nikhil bowls DMW to title win

A five-wicket haul by Nikhil Mahajan propelled DMW,Patiala to an emphatic 46-run win over APJ,Kharar and win the title in the First Harpal Singh Memorial U-15 Cricket Tournament played at Tau Devi Lal Cricket stadium on Friday.

Batting first,DMW Patiala posted 167 runs in the allotted 35 overs. Tanish Gill top scored with 38 runs,while Anmol Malhotra (37) and Shubham Rai (35) contributed with the bat also. Arshpreet Singh claimed three wickets.

In reply,APJ Kharar were bundled out for 121 runs in 29.5 overs. Vineet Dhaka top scored with 37 runs. Nikhil Mahajan completed a five-wicket haul for the winning team.Anmol Malhotra of DMW,Patiala was declared the best batsman of the tournament.
