Buoyed by their forwards,Manipur Students Association,Chandigarh scored a 2-0 win over Evangelial United in a league match of the CYC Peace Cup played at Sector 17 Football Stadium. Manipur Students Association,Chandigarh took the lead in the first half of the match before they scored the second goal in the second half of the game. In the second match of the day,Panjab University (I) team played a draw with St Stephen’s Football Club. Both the teams tried hard to end the deadlock but the match ended in a draw. In the third match of the day,Panjab University (II) team scored a 5-1 win over Rajeshwar Football Club. Both the teams scored one goal each in the first half but once the second half started,Panjab University (II) team scored four goals to win the match.
