MC to buy microbe solution for dumping ground

The Sanitation Committee of the Municipal Corporation on Wednesday accorded the approval to procure 3600 liters of Effective Micro-organisms (EM) bacterial solution and 10,800 kg of micro-nutrients for the dumping ground. An amount of Rs 8.96 lakh was approved by the Sanitation Committee for the purpose. The solution will be used at the dumping ground.

The meeting of the committee was held today under the chairmanship of councillor H C Kalyan. The committee directed all the chief sanitary inspectors,sanitary inspectors and supervisors to make a weekly report to strengthen the sanitation system.

In addition to this,the members also approved the procurement of a diesel pump and water tanker,having a capacity of 4500 litres. Approval was also given for the procurement of jaggery for sweepers.
