MC removes 80 hoardings

The Enforcement Wing of the Municipal Corporation on Friday removed 80 signboards and hoardings displayed by shopkeepers in different markets. The hoardings displayed in Sectors 15,22 and 35 were removed under Section 5 of the Chandigarh Advertisement Control Order 1954.

During the course of the drive the team removed signboards of brands including Idea,Reliance,Coca Cola,Aircel from in front of shops. The defaulters had been asked several times before to remove the hoardings and due to their failure to do so,the drive was conducted on Friday and the signboards and hoardings seized.
