The site has features like an online hotel finder,online room reservation that helps tourists identify packages which suit their choice and pocket,while entrepreneurs can check details of properties available in Kerala.

Kerala Tourism has come up with various ideas to overcome recession and increase domestic tourists’ inflow,which includes an 11-city partnership meet to expand its reach and find new domestic partners. While retaining annual events like Utsavam,Onam celebrations and Nishagandhi festival,the department has launched “Keralam Kaanam” a project through which people of Kerala can explore and discover their own state. Also earning an overwhelming response is the ‘Dream Season’ holiday package that is wooing both international and domestic guests. Kerala Tourism has formulated various strategies to take ‘brand Kerala’ miles across its borders. One such is Jet to Kerala,where the department has partnered with Jet Airways to keep a reserve of 20 seats at a discounted tariff in every Jet Airways carrier that flies into the state. The department has tied up with YouTube to stage ‘Kerala’ on an international platform and promote it as a ‘destination within reach’ and done road shows in various Scandinavian cities and also workshops and fairs in cities like Rome,Brussels,Munich,Lyon,Amsterdam etc.
