Janmashtami celebrations in Tricity schools

SMD Little Champ School

PANCHKULA: Janmashtami was celebrated on Tuesday at SMD Little Champ School in Panchkula. The tiny tots enacted childhood scenes of Lord Krishna,while teachers,along with kids,sang aarti and bhajans. Also,the festival’s importance was explained to the students.

Hallmark Public School

PANCHKULA: Hallmark Public School in Sector 15,Panchkula,celebrated Janmashtmi on Tuesday. Students of dressed up in colourful robes of Lord Krishna,Radha,Matasya,Maa Durga and gopies as they commemorated the human incarnation of Lord Krishna.

Students took part in activities like drawing,painting and crown making.

Shemrock Public School

Mohali: Shemrock Senior Secondary School in Mohali wore a festive look on Janmashtami with the students in colourful attires of Radha and Krishna and Sudama being prepared for the ‘Matki Todh’,which happened amidst much enthusiasm.

Ashmah International School

MOHALI: Students of Ashmah International School in Mohali celebrated Janmashtami by dressing up like Radha and Krishna.

The tiny tots of Kindergarten presented a beautiful dance form ‘Govinda Ala Re’,while there was a ‘Bhajan Recital’ as well.

Kundan International School

CHANDIGARH: Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Kundan International School with tiny tots dressing as Lord Krishna and Radha.

To add to the celebrations they visited ISKCON Temple in Sector 36 and danced to bhajans and devotional songs.
