Angad stars in St John triumph
*Chandigarh:
Angad’s brilliant all-round performance (70 and three wickets) helped St John High School,Sector 26,beat St Stephen’s School,Sector 45,by 32 runs in the Edmund Rice Cricket Tournament ,on Wednesday.Batting first,St John posted 139 runs. Chasing the target,St Stephen’s-45 were all out for 108. In another match,DAV School,Sector 8,defeated Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 26. Batting first,GMSSS-26 batsmen failed to get going and were bowled out for a paltry score of 27.

Yogesh helps Stepping Stones win
*Chandigarh:
A four-wicket haul by Yogesh (4 for 18) guided Stepping Stones School,Sector 37,to a 22-run win over Paragon Senior Secondary School,Mohali in a league match of the Second Vivek Trophy Cricket Tournament,on Wednesday. Batting first,Stepping Stone School posted 148 runs for 9 in 20 overs. In reply,Paragon School were bundled out for a total of 126 runs.

BTS register victory in Super Over
*Chandigarh:
BTS Royal defeated Shemrock Cricket Academy in the Super Over to move into the final of the BTS Rising Star U-11 Cricket Tournament,on Wednesday. Batting first,Shemrock Cricket Academy posted 116 for 4 in 15 overs. In reply,BTS Royal also scored 116 for 3 in 15 overs. The match was then decided in Super-Over in which BTS Royal emerged winners.

Punjab humble J&K
*Patiala:
Siddharth Sharma destroyed the Jammu and Kashmir batting line-up with his lethal bowling as Punjab humbled the visiting team by nine wickets in the Vijay Merchant Trophy at Dhruv Pandove Stadium in Patiala. Punjab bowled JKCA for 162 in 69.3 overs and then chased down the target of 22 runs by scoring 26 for 1 in 5.5 overs. Earlier,Siddharth completed his ten wicket haul with figures of 10 for 82 in the match. With this win Punjab has garnered 11 points from 3 matches. They leave for Amter (Himachal) to take on Himachal Pradesh in their next encounter from December 11 to 13.
