Cricket tourney this month
Kundan Cricket Academy,Sector 46 will organise U-19 Friendship Cup Cricket Series from this month. All the matches will be played on league basis and five teams are taking part in the series. Kundan Cricket Academy,Chandigarh Cricket Club,Panchkula Cricket Club,Mohali XI and BTS XI will take part in the series. The matches will be played on holidays only.

Kho-kho trials on September 29
The Chandigarh Kho Kho Association will conduct trials to select probables for 30th Junior National Kho Kho Championship (Boys and Girls) which will be held at Bhalai (Chhatisgarh) from October 23 to 27. Trials will be held at SGGS Sr. Sec. School,Sector 35-B,Chandigarh at 4 pm on September 29. Players born on or after 1-1-1992 are eligible for the trials. Players should bring their original Date of Birth Certificates for the trials.

Badminton tournament from Sept 23
The city will host the 44th Haryana State Open Senior Badminton Championship from September 23 to September 26. The tournament will be played at Badminton Hall,Tau Devi Lal Stadium,Sector 3 and more than 250 participants from all over Haryana will take part in the championship.

PYKKA UT Schools Games from Sept 29

Nehru Yuva Kendra Chandigarh in collaboration with the Chandiarh Sports Department,will organise State Level Inter-School Games for Under-16 from September 29 to October 1. Competitions will be conducted in archery (Lake Club),athletics (Sports Complex Sector 7),badminton (Badminton Hall Sector 42),basketball (Sector 7 Sports Complex),hockey (Sector 18 Hockey Stadium),football (Sector 17 Football Stadium.
