Hooda announces Rs 300 cr for Ratia; none for Adampur,Hisar

Reacting to such a “pick-and-choose policy”,INLD General Secretary Ajay Chautala said: “It is an old habit of the Congress rulers. This is nothing but a blackmailing tactic,adopted by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. He has conveyed the message to people of Haryana — you give me vote and take packages or else keep rotting in your villages. He is the chief minister of the entire state and not of only Ratia,where he has won by misusing the official machinery.”

He added: “One needs to visit the places,for instance Ellanabad,where there are no roads. Even the state highways crossing through the area end abruptly the moment Ellanabad’s jurisdiction begins and there is virtually no road till the end of the constituency’s boundary. The same highway is fantastic the moment Ellanabad’s boundary ends. This is nothing but a display of blatant revengeful feeling towards the electorate,who have exercised their right in a democratic manner.”

Echoing similar sentiments,HJC MP Kuldeep Bishnoi,said: “It is sad the way the chief minister has been throwing away freebies and monetary packages. If you have announced a package of Rs 300 crore in one constituency just because it had saved your own chair,what will happen to the rest of the state? Why don’t you announce similar packages for rest of the state as well?”
