The flag of the new political outfit was unveiled at a well-attended rally here by Ajay Chautala's wife and MLA Naina Chautala along with senior leader KC Bangar, former chairman of the Haryana Public Service Commission.
Sources close to MP Dushyant have hinted that Ajay, who is currently lodged in Tihar jail in connection with teachers recruitment scam, may come out on parole to attend a Jind rally scheduled on December 9. Ajay faction will announce the new party in the rally.
Recently, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, while speaking to mediapersons in Sonepat, had words of appreciation for Ajay’s elder son and MP Dushyant Chautala while Ajay’s younger son Digvijay Chautala said “AAP has (support) base”.
Striving to project himself as a man forced to fight back after being denied his right, Ajay, alluding to the message of the Pandavs conveyed by Krishna to the Kauravs after his peace mission had failed, said, “Yachana nahin, ab rann hoga (No begging, there will be war now).”
The Supreme Court had on August 3 last year dismissed the appeals of Chautala and his father O P Chautala challenging the high court verdict upholding their conviction and sentence of 10 years awarded by a trial court in JBT teachers recruitment scam case.
