The weather might have played truant but it didnt deter the spirit of the Sound of Silence a fashion show held at Hotel Bella Vista on Sunday evening to help hearing impaired children,in association with hearing aids company,Widex India. The show moved indoors and showcased motley collections by designers Gaurav Jai Gupta,Niket & Jainee,Abhijeet Khanna and Sahiba J Singh. The occasion also saw the launch of a small albeit colourful range of hearing aids for children by Widex. The garments were a mix of ethnic as well as western wear. Gaurav Jai Gupta presented a muted colour palette while designs by Niket & Jainee along with Abhijeet Khanna were in vibrant hues and their signature resort wear style was on full display. Chandigarh-based designer Sahiba J Singh presented a potpourri of formal wear for both men and women. The show was followed by a musical performance by singers Sahil and Ipshita.
