When it comes to relishing a gourmet meal, most of us first consider booking a table at a fancy restaurant in town. “It’s taken for granted that delightful dishes cannot be created in limited time or without professional expertise,” says chef Anubhav Sawhney (in the picture).

Taking note of this modern truism,Sawhney put together Made@Home,an endeavour that aims to make people experience the delight of creating food that gets,as she puts it,“your lips smacking”. “It’s not about learning exotic dishes,it’s about discovering the hidden joy you feel when you master your favourite meal. I know a lot of people who are hesitant to step into the kitchen, which is why I started Made@Home to show how all of us are artists in the kitchen,” says Sawhney. The chef is now set to present a live cooking session at Peddlers,The Big Ben restaurant in Sector 35 on August 25. The three-hour session that will roll out at 11.30 am has been titled “Show Stopper”. Australian Chocolate Pavlova,Lebanese Mezze platter,Italian Lasagna cupcakes and Wild Mushroom Pad Thai noodles are some of the dishes planned by Made@Home for the session. Be there.
