GMADA auction: 5 out of 28 sites sold

Confirming the current slump in the market,only five of a total of 28 sites put up for auctioning by the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) were sold on Monday. The five sites were sold for Rs 40.5 crore against a reserved price of Rs 37.61 crore. Two of the commercial sites in Sector 69 fetched Rs 16.65 crore and Rs 14.12 crore. Out of the 28 sites put up for auction,there were 12 residential sites,eight commercial sites,two group housing sites and one site for school.

The electricity supply to the following areas will remain suspended from 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesday due to urgent maintenance work:
