Discovery channel is back with its adventurous series Discovery Atlas. This time,explore the ancient civilizations,vibrant cultures,and natural phenomena of France,Japan,Egypt and Russia courtesy stunning high-definition photography and cutting edge-effects as Discovery Atlas takes you across the globe on a journey through diverse cultures and splendid pageantry. Each two-hour episode will be narrated by a celebrity including Academy Award-nominated,Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning American actress Candice Bergen (France Revealed),renowned film director Mira Nair (India Revealed),Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated actor Masi Oka (Japan Revealed),and Sela Ward best known for her Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning television roles (Brazil Revealed). Through the lives of several key characters,the series will present an extraordinary narrative that brings incredible depth and scale to these fascinating countries. Discovery Atlas airs every Sunday at 9 pm.

In a comedy special this week,Ali the host will be play Ali,Mummy Masakalli and Baby Khalbali. While Mummy Masakalli is an overbearing and pushy mother who wants to get her child,Baby Khalbali on the show,Baby Khalbali is a ‘besura’ singer and Ali,the host,has to handle the determined Mummy Masakalli who insists that her child should be a part of the show.
