Sportswear with a swagger met earthy fusion chic,shimmery resortwear and red carpet razzmatazz on Wednesday,the first day of Spring-Summer 2014 edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week at Pragati Maidan,New Delhi. The fashion firmament’s favourite glamour girls — Masaba Gupta,Anupama Dayal,Malini Ramani and Gauri & Nainika — saved the day with collections that offered a study in contrasts. On display were bold stripes,sheer hemlines,plunging backs,tone-on-tone embroidery,neon accents and the (now mandatory) sari variants. The girls stuck to their core strengths and rolled out collections that were embodiments of their personal style as well as their brand statement.
