International Women’s Day might still be a month away,but Rashmi Bindra has been working towards making it a special occasion for women in the city. The fabric designer cum poet,wedding planner and interior designer,is putting together a lifestyle and fashion exhibition for women in all age groups. To be held in Hotel Mountview on March 5 and 6,this will feature 55 exhibitors from Chandigarh,Mumbai,Jaipur and Kolkata. “Not just designers,I am looking at bringing several talented women under one roof. The idea is to give them an opportunity to showcase their skills,” says Bindra,who has also dressed Kava restaurant in Sector 26 for the ongoing Chinese food festival. Even as she shortlists names of women achievers who will be felicitated on the occasion,Bindra has also lined-up interactive sessions with a gynecologist and counsellor during the event.
