Fusion Sufis

In keeping with the family tradition,the famous Sufi duo — Puranchand Wadali and Pyarelal Wadali — known as the Wadali Brothers,have teamed up with Puranchand’s son,Lakhwinder,to promote the next generation with their new album titled Naina De Buhe. This is the first joint album featuring Lakhwinder Wadali,along with the Wadali borthers. The tracks are a fusion of Sufi and Punjabi music. While music by Tigerstyle (UK) and Jatinder Jeetu,the lyrics are by Sanjeev Anand Ji,RP Deewana Ji,Jaswant Baaz,SDM Ram Singh and Sarvarinder Singh Canada. Produced by Speed Records,the album has nine tracks including the soul-stirring title track,Naina de buhe,penned by RP Deewana,Baba Bulleh Shah’s Tere ishq nachaya kar thaiya thaiya,Churi and the traditional folk number,Jugni kehndi hai. There is an interesting track called Fashion as well.
