Fun all the way

The Puppet Theatre – a registered organisation which works for children and with children organised an eight day long camp at Dikshant International School,Zirakpur. The winter camp which started on December 28,offered a wide range of activities for the children in the age group 3-10 years. Children indulged in dance and theatre and experimented with colour in painting sessions. Zoo-Time with clay was their favourite. Other activities which got them going were stories by puppets,origami,mask making,tips on creative writing,public speaking,cartoon-making and animation. The most awaited activity daily was the community lunch time. During that time the children explored a variety of recipes and experimented with cooking without fire. The workshop was conducted by Anupama Neogi,Subhasis Neogi and Nandita. All participants recieved certificates from the principal,Garima Dikshit.
