Ethnic charm
Here’s yet another traditional treat in the city. Lajpat Rai Bhawan is currently hosting a handloom and handicraft exhibition organised by All India Handloom and Handicraft Welfare Association. The Lucknow-based outfit has been encouraging weavers and artisans since its inception in 2002. On offer are stitched kurtas,Banarsi sarees,silk Tussar suits,block prints from Jaipur,handlooms from Gujarat along with furniture from Saharanpur and imitation jewellery as well. The exhibition is on till July 1.
