Telecom operator IDEA Cellular is out with an exciting roaming offer wherein subscribers will have an opportunity to win an all-expenses paid trip to the 10th edition of the ‘IDEA IIFA Awards 2009’ on June 13 at Macau island,Hong Kong. The roaming offer is for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers who consume at least 50 minutes of airtime while roaming in India,or 20 minutes of international roaming. In addition,the top roaming subscriber from each of the 16 operating service areas of IDEA will get to win a special IDEA IIFA T-shirt. The contest is valid till May 31,2009.

RENOWNED Bharat Natyam danseuse Suchitra Mitra is back with another summer dance workshop for the city,but this time with something entirely different. Her new project,Abhinaya,is the art of expressing oneself mainly through facial gestures,a concept in Indian dance and drama derived from Bharata’s Natyashastra. It is not only an integral part of all Indian classical dance styles,but equally important of theatre as well,especially with the mimetic aspects of certain compositions. Hence,Suchitra aims at targeting not only dancers but theatre artists as well. She firmly believes that after attending this 15-day workshop,starting May 24,the students will be richer in their artistic ability to express themselves giving a totally new dimension to their stage performances.
