In a colourful function,students of the bachelor’s degree programme in Airlines,Tourism and Hospitality management of the ITFT College,bid farewell to their seniors here today. In a keen contest,Navneet was crowned as Miss ITFT and Gaurav Samyal as Mr. ITFT. Addressing the outgoing students,principal of the college,Indu Sharma,exhorted them to be responsible citizens,to spread more smiles and serve the nation with a dedicated professional acumen. She also urged them to vote in the coming election.

All the right moves
At six Katrina Mahajan is a dancing queen. Having been adjudged the best dancer in North India at the ‘Dance Mania’ organised by JSR Productions,Chandigarh,”I love dancing and want to become a doctor when I grow up,” she tells us as she takes a bow after receiving the award from choreographer Saroj Khan. A student of Class I,Bhavan Vidyalaya,Panchkula,she was ranked first among 49 children shortlisted from Punjab,Haryana,Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. “I have been learning Bharat Natayam for the past two years,” says Katrina,as she demonstrates a few steps from the song that saw her emerge as the singer ‘Main Vari Vari….’ from ‘Mangal Pandey’.
