First engineers’ fest organised at UIET

The student branch of University Institute of Engineering & Technology UIET-IEEE,PU,organised its first ever IEEE technical fest ‘AARAMBH’ on October 1.

The student branch of University Institute of Engineering & Technology UIET-IEEE,PU,organised its first ever IEEE technical fest ‘AARAMBH’ on October 1. The national fest was inaugurated by Som Prakash,chief parliamentary secretary (IAS retd.) and Aditya Singh,president Alexis Foundation.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE),with headquarters in New York,is an organisation that works for advancement of technology.

Events at the fest,which saw participation from teenagers and academicians from various institutions,included ‘Contraption’ that brings out the skill of applying one’s knowledge for a complex mechanism,‘Ball Collectors’ in which students were asked to build remote bot to collect balls placed at various levels,‘Blind Brick Rum’,‘Suspension Pac Pro’ where students had to design a robo car with a suspension system,‘Drag Race’ and ‘Market Tech’.
