Hundreds of farmers under the banner of Kisan Sangharsh Committee held a massive rally at Chowk Mehta here on Monday,in protest against the unbundling and privatisation of the Punjab State Electricity Board. KSC head Satnam Singh Pannu said the farmers were also against the rising price rise. He said that while the input costs on agriculture were rising,the prices of crops were stagnant,landing a severe blow to farmers.
