False alarm raised at Kaimbwala bank

Police received an emergency call from the State Bank of Patiala in Kaimbwala bank on Friday,only to discover that the false alarm was activated by mice.

Police received an emergency call from the State Bank of Patiala in Kaimbwala bank on Friday,only to discover that the false alarm was activated by mice.

“Today at 5.18 pm,we received an emergency call from the State Bank of Patiala,which is equipped with an automatic dialer,activating an SOS. Police rushed to the site but the bank employees informed them that there was no problem,” said a police source.

The bank officials said that the wire of the machine was chewed by mice leading to a short circuit that resulted in the false alarm getting activated.
