Environment & education are two areas the new chairman of CII’s Young Indians Chandigarh Chapter wants to focus on
They are looking ahead with new enthusiasm and excitement. It’s a fresh start, one that comes with positive results. Urging and motivating the young to vote through a series of absorbing events and ideas and execute their right and responsibility was CII’s Young Indians Chandigarh Chapter. The campaign was the first of its kind,”and we made such a huge difference, the voter turnout was for all to see,” beams Mohit Chitkara, who has taken over as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Young Indians Chandigarh Chapter, having been associated with it formerly as a member of the Executive Committee. Mohit’s the Vice-President of Chitkara Educational Trust and is looking forward to his new role. High on his agenda is to include more young members from different walks of life from the city and north India. “Currently,we are 25 of us forming the Young Indians Chandigarh Chapter and we need to increase the membership base and also make the organization more popular by reaching out to various sections through a better online presence,” Mohit is the founder of CCED,Chitkara Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, which was established in order to transform young talent into future entrepreneurs.
