Arguably the first of its kind event in Chandigarh,Sharma said that he took all the necessary permission from the owners of Facebook. “They allowed us to use the name of the site in its original form,” said Sharma,who chose blue as the theme of the Facebook party. “Not the blue of the Indian cricket team,this one is to cheer for the blue page of Facebook,” said Sharma. The lounge was decked with neon blue lights,blue drapes and blue coloured drinks. A life-size screen was attached to the computer to stream Facebook updates,photos and videos. The music by DJ Appurv,Sameer and Abhishek had everyone on the dance floor.

Quiz Sharma on the need for such a party and he says that he had heard about one abroad and wanted to bring it home. “A lot of people are hooked on to this site.
