Extortion case: Cops arrest 2 for shooting at builder

Panchkula police have arrested two persons in extortion call case. On Wednesday police arrested Atul Verma,resident of Pinjore,and Sachin Sharma,resident of Ambala Cantonment,from Sector 6 market.

Panchkula police have arrested two persons in extortion call case. On Wednesday police arrested Atul Verma,resident of Pinjore,and Sachin Sharma,resident of Ambala Cantonment,from Sector 6 market.

Superintendent of Police,Maneesh Chaudhry said,Both have admitted that they fired at the builders car on instructions from member of Nishan Singh gang,Kuldeep alias Manga,and Surender Ganja,who are lodged in Ambala jail.

The police informed that Surender Ganja has been involved in 14 cases,all in Ambala,ranging from murder,dacoity,attempt to murder,under Arms Act.

He is also facing imprisonment of seven years in one case.

Manga has been facing eight cases related to murder,dacoity,attempt to murder,under Arms Act at Panchkula and Ambala. He is serving life imprisonment in one of the case.
