The Aitchison Yadavindrian Old Students Association (AYOSA) commemorated the ties between two educational institutions which are divided by a border.

The Aitchison Yadavindrian Old Students Association (AYOSA) commemorated the ties between two educational institutions which are divided by a border but share a common heritage — Yadavindra Public School,Patiala and Mohali. “Both were formed after Partition when non-Muslim students and a few teachers of Aitchison College,Lahore,came to Patiala,” said Jaspal S Sekhon,coordinator of the association. He,along with other alumni members from Patiala,Ludhiana and Delhi,got together at Chandigarh Golf Club for the AYOSA Bhagat Golf Tournament. Then,they proceeded to Vaseela Resorts where Capt Amarinder Singh,patron YPS,Raja Malvinder Singh,board member,and MP Pawan Bansal were spotted mingling with old boys like Lt Gen Rajesh Kochhar and Lt Gen (Retd) H S Panag.
