Delegation of teachers’ body meets HRD officer

The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers Welfare Association,UT Chandigarh (SSATWA),met the under secretary of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development(MHRD) on June 17 apprising the officer of the fact that though in March 2011,the Secretary,MHRD in the project approval board meeting had directed UT to appoint all teachers under SSA on regular basis,teachers are still working on the contract basis.

President,SSATWA Arvind Rana and general secretary Ajay Upmanyu and Rajiv Goel said,“We informed the officer about the delay in the regularization of JBT and TGT Teachers working under SSA in Chandigarh.”
