Qaushiq Mukherjee,also known as Q,and the maker of films like Love in India and Gandu,is toying with a rather interesting concept — a project,which can change the way we archive films. “It’s called cloud computing,which is in simple terms a cyber space bank,” says Q,adding that it is important for Indian filmmakers and the government to take steps to build an archive before everything is lost. “This will be an invisible server that can save huge chunks of data,” explains Q,who will start the project by uploading his upcoming film Tasher Desh,based on a ballet composed by Rabindranath Tagore.
