In an all-new twist to reality programming,Zee Tv is bringing on board television celebrities for a singing contest. Produced by Wizcraft,Star Ya Rockstar will go on air once ongoing reality show Hero Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs draws to an end,and continue till Jaanbaaz,an action-based reality show anchored by Sunny Deol,begins. The channel is in talks with actors Suchitra Krishnamoorthi,Varun Badola,Rajshri Thakur and Vikas Bhalla,while Manish Paul and Chhavi Mittal have already confirmed their participation. The rationale behind the concept,says a Zee spokesperson,is that the television fraternity itself is nothing short of a minefield of singing talent. After regaling the crew behind the scenes with their vocal prowess,these set of celebs will compete for the prize on screen now.
