Ahead of the inauguration of the Sector-47 C park by Municipal Commissioner Dr Roshan Sunkaria on Friday,workers of the MC Horticulture Wing were busy throughout the day transferring flowers from nurseries to the site. Instead of planting saplings,flowers in full bloom were embedded in the soil packed in polythene bags. A resident said,The whole exercise seems to be a farce. Development should have been done in a more systematic and planned manner. These flowers will wither away in a day or two. Workers at the site said they were making cuts in the polythene bags before planting them .
