City institute sends students to Germany for summer camp

“This is the second consecutive year that students from our institute are going to Germany. They will be joined by other 1500 students from worldwide. Around 125 students are participating in this camp,from India,” says Evelyn Singh,Coordinator,School Project. She added that the students will learn German in a more practical way and will also get exposure to areas such as networking,cultural exchange and inter-cultural friendships. Students will travel around Germany. These camps follow a certain theme,on which programmes are based. This year’s theme is environment and apart from the class teaching,there would be guest lectures from companies related to environment; companies would discuss their projects and technology. ” International network of language and culture is the aim with which we launched this scheme two and a half years ago. The result is more schools from neighboring states are showing interest in introducing German language in their academic courses.” says Clemens Kroll,Cultural Counselor,German Embassy,New Delhi.

The trip however was not the only attraction for joining the course among the students. A student,Shivam Singla wants to do the course,so that some years later,his resume would have an edge over others.
