2 die in road mishaps
Two persons died in separate road accidents in Hallomajra and Sector 45 late Thursday evening. While a 25-year-old youth was killed on the main dividing road between Sector 45 and Colony Number 5,an unidentified woman was mowed down by a rashly driven truck in Hallomajra. Ashu Rishi (25) died on the spot as he sustained severe head injuries. The the truck driver fled from the spot. In the other incident,the woman died when the truck hit her bicycle near the Hallomajra traffic signal. The driver,Baldev Singh,was arrested.
