CITCO union unhappy with new regulations

The Union had also suggested that every diploma,degree or certificate course should be correctly mentioned to avoid ambiguity at a later stage. The members had pointed out that in CITCO,officials facing serious charges are being marked as outstanding in their assessment reports. These suggestions have reportedly not been considered.

During the meeting held on June 22,the board also decided that the post of Deputy General Manager (Raw Material) would be converted to the post of DGM (Hotels). The post of DGMs would be filled through promotion. The other posts like food and beverages cost controller,assistant cost controller,three restaurant executives and assistant housekeeper would also be filled through promotion.

President of the Union Rajeev Kohli said the service regulations approved are creating unrest among the staff. “Competent people are being sidelined and regulations are being framed to favour a few individuals. This is not in favour of CITCO. We have constantly been writing to the officials concerned. No heed has,however,been paid to our demands.”
